Gary is a principal of Forward Action
Coaching, LLC. His specialty is working with
clients on solutions in business,
leadership, career and personal
development … all for maximum achievement.
With corporate clients, Gary utilizes his
more than 25 years as a senior executive and
his training as a professional coach to
offer an integrated approach, utilizing the
best practices in coaching and consulting.
The targeted result is for clients to
effectively achieve personal, organizational
and business objectives. With career
coaching clients, Gary works with the client
to clarify a new career direction or to
develop and implement a career search game
plan. Sometimes the coaching issue is one of
strategizing a campaign for career
advancement in their current organization.
Gary has held several senior management
positions in his successful 30-year
corporate career. He has worked in several
disciplines, including international
business, supply chain management, product
development, marketing and sales. Gary has
served as Executive Vice President of Nuway
Distributors, President of Majestic Tool
Corporation, President and COO of Bestway
Dealer Warehouse, and most recently as
Executive Vice President and a member of the
executive management group for West Chester
Holdings, Inc. Gary has also served on
corporate advisory boards and on the Board
of Trustees for a non-profit organization.
Gary is currently a faculty member for the
Robert H. Smith School of Business at the
University of Maryland. He teaches
Introduction to Business,
International Business Management, International
Supply Chain Management, and Global
Marketing. He has also served as adjunct
faculty for the Carey School of Business at
Johns Hopkins University.
Education
Gary has his B.S. degree in Accounting from
the University of Maryland and an M.B.A.
from Regis University. He has also received
an Advanced M.B.A. Certification from the
Freeman School of Business at Tulane
University. As a Certified Professional
Coach (CPC), Gary received his training from
the International Coach Academy, accredited
by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
He is also an active member of the American
Society of Training and Development (ASTD)
and the American Marketing Association
(AMA). Gary is an active member of the
International Coach Federation (ICF).

Amy is a principal of Forward Action

clients as their personal success and
strategy coach. Amy’s goal is to help
clients identify and align their needs and
core values, allowing them to find the
balance and harmony in their lives. She
works with her clients to create effective
strategies for their personal and
professional lives,
helping them through structure and
accountability to reach their goals and dreams.
She works closely with her clients as a
collaborative partner, outside strategist
and confidante.
Amy has
personally experienced successful
transitions in her own life and is
positioned to help clients as they explore
changes in their lives and the pursuit of
their passions.
Amy spent the first several years of her
career as an entrepreneur in the optical
industry, specializing in product
development, sales and marketing. She worked
internationally and resided in Barbados
during her time in the optical business.
Education
Amy has her B.A. degree in the double major
of Philosophy and Biology from Chatham
University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She
also has a minor in Psychology. As a Certified Professional Coach
(CPC), Amy received her training from the
International Coach Academy, accredited by
the International Coach Federation (ICF).
